I never fail to find that entering the homes of those I tune for lifts my soul. All the homes are different, some neat as a pin, some thoroughly lived-in. Some have furry residents like the dogs who greet me or the musical cats who stare while I tune and tinker. Some homes feel warm and cozy and others are cool and modern.
The people I tune for run the gamut of humanity, but I always find a friend. The stories of the pianos, of the music, of the families intrigue and restore me.
I've said it once and I'll say it always, the best people own pianos!
